Everyone has a shadow. But for some...

Miami was once a town full of life, love and beauty. But slowly, all of that is beginning to change. Vampires, or shadow dwellers as they are being called, are rising in number and killing more frequently. Nobody was any clue why there is a sudden rise in killings, but many believe its due to the frequent storms that have been arising, which are believed to somehow 'change' people, and create utter violence and chaos.[/center][/blockquote]
There are no heroes in Miami, only victims. There are those who stand up to fight, but they don't last long. With the impending evil arising, there is seen to be little light showing over the horizon. The little bit of light which does exist, is those harnessing the power to fight against these creatures. With a giant target on their head, many who know sense that the Shadow Slayers won't last long in Miami. Those who chose to fight will die quicker. Those who don't, just await the inevitable.
Ironically with school starting back up again, the frequent storms are the least of the problems. With studying, bullying, exams and homework on the verge again, nothing is seen as more scarier than this. If only they knew what was lurking within the shadows...
